1. Underwriter
Qualifications :
- Bachelor Degree in Insurance or related major
- Min. 5 years working experience as Underwriting in General Insurance
- Have good knowledge of underwriting regulations
- At least have AAAIK certificate
- Able to work independently and self-driven person
- Good adaptability skill and able to work under pressure
- High attention to detail, excellent problem solving, and decision making skills
Job Description :
- Organizing, analyzing, reviewing and providing underwriting decisions in the risk acceptance process
- Evaluate insurance applications to determine the level of risk associated with insuring individuals, businesses, or assets
- Providing underwriting decisions (acceptance, rate, terms & Conditions of Coverage) in accordance with determined acceptance limits, SOP, underwriting guideline and treaty
- Provide suggestions and recommendations based on the situation and conditions of a risk
2. Reinsurance Officer
Qualifications :
- Bachelor Degree in any related major
- Min. 1 year experience in reinsurance (preferably from general insurance company)
- Have good knowledge about general insurance
- Strong understanding of reinsurance contracts, treaties, and claims processes
- High attention to detail, excellent analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
Job Description :
- Review and calculate reinsurance claims based on risk allocation
- Prepare and submit Preliminary Loss Advice (PLA) and Definite Loss Advice (DLA) to reinsurers
- Communicate with reinsurers regarding recovery claim status
- Verify data and documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Ensure all recovery claims comply with reinsurance agreements and applicable regulations
- Prepare reports related to reinsurance claims
